Temple of Venus

Here's a postcard of the Temple of Venus during winter in the Linderhof Palace, Bavaria, Germany. The sculpture is larger than life. The site of the temple was originally intended for a theater but due to the royal finances being serious difficulty in 1878, a smaller project which was the temple was commissioned instead.

  2. It is a beautiful location for such a nice monument. I like that style and the snow seems cold for now but it is coming soon.

"Moreover, we only allow the front (the part that does not have writing or your address) of the postcard to be uploaded. Please do not upload images of the backside of the postcards you receive."

This isn't postcrossing.com, but have u ask permission to publish the backside of that postcard?

  5. @Anonymous: Perhaps I wasn't reading enough...I'm sorry about that. I have removed the back image of the card. I would backtrack on the postcard entries as soon as I can in order to remove images of the back portion of the card.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
